My resolution for 2017

If you firmly believe that

  • we jivas fell down from the spiritual world
  • our eternal spiritual form is already present as a seed in our heart
  • bhakti and prema are already present in our heart
  • our eternal relationship (in one of the 5 RASAS) is already fixed eternally in our heart
  • raganuga bhakti is only for pure devotees and starts at ruci or asakti
  • the qualification for raganuga bhakti comes from years and years of practicing vaidhi bhakti
  • we are not qualified to meditate on the pastimes of the Divine Couple after we read about those glorious pastimes or after we heard about them from the lips of rasika saints (or from one’s own Gurudeva)
  • we have to be free from lust or any unwanted desire (anartha) to listen to those pastimes or even practice raganuga bhakti
  • only your own parivar can attain true perfection (svarupa siddhi)
  • without chanting at least 64 rounds you have no permission or qualification to hear about or meditate about Vraja-lila
  • remembering the pastimes of the Divine Couple (after hearing or reading in anugatya of Sri Gurudevs and sadhu-sanga) is impossible because our mind is not liberated or fully spiritualized
  • manjari-bhava is not mentioned anywhere in the writings of the six Goswamis
  • not every jiva is eligible to receive the gift of Sriman Mahaprabhu (unnatojjvala rasa sva bhakti sriyam)
  • … ,

you are certainly entitled to follow your beliefs. Everyone is and so am I to follow mine.

It is my firm resolution for 2017 to respect the belief system of every sadhaka and to never again engage in convincing others, defeating others or debating about these subject matters.

Life is short. Bhajan is more important. Respect is the key.

All sadhakas must follow their own taste and the practice taught by their Sri Gurudeva and the parivar they belong too.

But it is also my firm resolution to continue to share the nectar of the words of my beloved Gurudeva and of other beloved sadhus pertaining to a certain subject matter.

Pray for me that I can keep up and be true to my resolutions.

Dandavat pranams.
