Reflections on the nature of the siddha deha

More and more I realize that this subject matter is very private and personal.
In my former blog, I just wanted to share the wonderful video of my Gurudeva and the lovely exchange with SND Babaji.
But maybe sharing these things solely on my blog is a much better way than exposing these thoughts to not-like-minded people.

These may be my own last 2 cents on this subject matter in public:

vaikunthasya bhagavato jyotir-amsa-bhuta vaikuntha-loka-sobha-rupa ya ananta murtayas tatra vartante tasam ekaya saha muktasyaikasya murtir bhagavata kriyata iti vaikuntasya murtir iva murtir yesham ity uktam
(Priti Sandarbha 10)

“In the spiritual world, the Supreme Lord has unlimited spiritual forms. They all are expansions of Himself illuminating that world. With each one of those forms, the Lord enjoys pastimes with a single individual liberated soul.”

Sripad Satyanarayana das Babaji confirmed to me that here, Vaikuntha means the spiritual world. Not just the Vaikuntha planets, but also Vrindavana.
Like Srila Jiva Goswami writes: “No one falls from Vaikuntha.”
(Bhagavat Sandarbha, Anuccheda 63)

Does that mean one can fall from Goloka, Gokula, Dwaraka, etc…? Certainly not.

He confirmed too that Srila Jiva Goswami writes here that all siddha dehas are illuminating the spiritual world.
They are “doing” something.
Each one of these unlimited siddha dehas is suitable for a perfected soul.
Our material mind can’t grasp this yet.

So, how can my own personal siddha deha be personally active if I am not yet a perfected soul, if I have not yet attained svarupa siddhi?
Of course, this question is asked from a linear time perspective here in this world, but in truth valid nevertheless.

The spiritual form is actually not “inactive”. It illuminates and decorates and embellishes the spiritual world like a flower decorates and serves the beauty of an altar.

From my perspective, the siddha deha “waits” for me.
From eternal perspective, it will be as if I was never away.
Mind-blowing? Yes.

The siddha deha suitable for a single liberated soul is the vessel of my spiritual identity.
It is me, the perfected jiva. It is a “form”, not a separate identity. The identity is the perfected jiva.

The siddha deha is not eternal in the sense like “bhakti-perfection”.
“Bhakti-perfection” has a beginning (bhakti-lata-bija), but it is for all eternity when perfection is attained.

The siddha deha, our suitable spiritual FORM, has no beginning.
Siddha means eternally perfect.

Srimat Jiva Goswamipad writes – ‘siddha deha’ is the body that is worthy of serving Sri Krishna.

Srila Vishwanath Chakravartipad writes – ‘siddha-deha’ is the body that is worthy of serving Sri Sri Radha-Krishna in reality (sakshat seva).

It is our spiritual identification, our inner transformation towards our spiritual bhava that has a beginning, but has no end.
Svarupa siddhi then is eternal, the siddha deha then bestowed to us according to the perfection of our desires.

So, from my perspective, my own spiritual form is as long “inactive” in doing personal seva as I have not attained svarupa siddhi (again, linear time perspective).

Nobody else is driving my car right now, so to say.

My Gurudeva once told that the siddha deha is like a most wonderful spiritual dress for the perfected jiva, waiting for us until it “fits” us (or we fit in it).

This dress will make us forget that we have been baddha jivas even millions of times more than the material body lets us forget our soul.

I love this example very much.

But always remember, we are bound by time and space. Eternal principles can’t always be understood but only realized in anugatya.

Dandavats.
